Born in Selma, Alabama, Lynnette is the oldest of 4 children.  Her father was Army, Airborne so it didn’t take long before the family was transferred, and transferred again!  She has lived in Alabama, Kentucky, North Carolina, several areas of Florida, and even Germany.  Her diverse background may account for her ability to relate to most anyone.

Lynnette’s professional background is also diverse.  She was a Stay at Home Mom when her children were young and admits it was the hardest and most rewarding job she’s ever done!  Since the early 90’s, she has been in banking as a Financial Specialist, a Bank Manager, a Loan Officer, and has had Insurance licenses as well as Investment licenses.  It is her belief that all of these experiences have prepared her for her current love, which is Real Estate.  “There is something so rewarding about helping people achieve the American dream.”  “It’s not just a job for me, I truly enjoy it and find it rewarding!”

A bit of an Education junkie, Lynnette is always looking for ways to expand her knowledge and be up to date on any changes happening in the Real Estate Industry.  Since moving to Jacksonville, she has earned her Military Relocation Professional Certification, Certification in Staging and Re-Design, and graduated from the National Association of Realtors Leadership Academy.  She has also completed over 200 courses provided by Watson Realty Corp and the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World!

Lynnette is an active member of Women’s Council of Realtors, locally and nationally.  Women’s Council is a network of successful REALTORS®, advancing women as professionals and leaders in business, the industry and the communities we serve.

Lynnette, an artist, has put her creative talents to use in staging and decorating homes.  She has a knack for taking what’s available and seeing a better way to rearrange or re-purpose furnishings to make the most of a space.  Her staging experience and creative eye are a true value when marketing your home to sell in a competitive Real Estate Market.  She is the owner of Staging Works, LLC and provides staging and re-design services for her customers.

Lynnette’s first job in Real Estate was working onsite for a Green Builder in Gainesville, FL.  “ It was a great introduction into this business.  I was able to stay involved in the building process from beginning to end and participate in the creative aspects, like custom changes to floor plans and color selections as well as guiding buyers through the loan process and assisting with the other details associated with moving into a new home."  She continues to stay connected with her previous customers and enjoys nurturing those relationships as well as acquiring new ones.

Lynnette’s passion for her family is apparent.  She had 3 sons of her own and adopted a daughter.  After her daughter passed away in 2010, she made the decision to adopt her granddaughter.  As a single parent, Lynnette was motivated to move to Jacksonville to be closer to family.
Having a heart for children, Lynnette enjoys volunteering for organizations such as Toys for Kids Foundation and Children’s Home Society.  She also gives back by Sponsoring a Community Blood Drive several times a year.

Lynnette’s other interests include gardening, traveling, wine tasting, beaches, cooking, coffee, entertaining, comedy, photography, collecting books, attending live theater, and scouring yard sales and thrift stores for treasures!

Lynnette is a hard working Realtor ® with the knowledge, experience and integrity to help you make it to the closing table!
